In a circular issued by the Ministry of Ports and Maritime Transport and Somali port authority ref. X/WDGB/076/2023 we read that the ECTN – Electronic Cargo Tracking Number is introduced for all maritime shipments.
As from 01/02/2023 all sea shipments destined to a Somali port must be regularized by an ECTN.
