ECTN / BESC – Electronic Cargo Tracking Number
All maritime shipments with final destination the Somalia shall be regularized by an Electronic Cargo Tracking Number. Generally, called BESC – Bordereau Électronique de Suivi des Cargaisons.

- Berbera
- Chisimayu (Kismaayo)
- Merca
- Mogadishu
ECTN/BESC certificate is a necessary document requested request by circular X/WDGB/076/2023 as from 01/02/2023. Each B/L must be accompanied by an Electronic Cargo Tracking Number.

Procedure

- Collect all mandatory documents
- Submit your request on-line or by e-mail
- Wait our feedback with ECTN draft, ECTN n° and invoice
- Check the draft
- Insert the ECTN n° on B/L description
- Proceed with payment
- Confirm the draft
- Wait the ECTN certificate validated

ECTN n° should be present on B/L.
Shipment without ECTN document arriving in Somali port will face fine and are prohibited from entering Somali ports.
